Dell Chromebook 11. I just saw someone on eBay selling refurbished Dell Chromebook 11s. They come with generic power cable. It is a 2014 Chromebook with 720p screen and processor with Octane score of 11600, which is about the same processing power as the Acer C720. Acer Chromebook 15 CB515-1HT (aluminum). This one reminds me of the 14 inch aluminum Acer (CB3-431) but with a bigger screen at 15 inches and a slightly faster processor with an Octane score of 11,500. This almost feels like an evolutionary replacement of the Acer 14 Chromebook CB3-431. Comes with 32GB SSD. IPS 1080p screen. The aluminum body is a crowd pleaser. Acer Chromebook 14 CB3-431 (aluminum) is a beautiful Chromebook for the average user. When it was first released it was about $300. Now you can find it for $250 new and $203 certified refurbished. This has an aluminum body paired with a 1080p IPS screen. Speakers are good enough and it can play 1080p Youtube videos without a problem. The battery life is pretty awesome at up to 12hrs. The downside is that the processor is that low powered N3160 so performance is good for average user. It gets an Octane score of 8,000. Acer Chromebook 15 CB3-532 (Charcoal) is a decent Chromebook. This Acer 15 was released one year after the white Acer 15. The processor is the Celeron N3060 which is a relatively weak processor IMO getting an octane score of 8,800. Comes with 2GB of RAM. This will be good for average computer users. Screen is a 720p TN panel so you get poor viewing angles and average color representation. Speakers face up so the sound is good. Acer Chromebook 15 CB5-571 (White) is an awesome Chromebook. I gave this one to my 15 year old godson for school and he loves it. Has a 15 inch 1080p IPS screen, the processor (Celeron 3205U) nets you an Octane score of 14,000 so its fast. Has 4GB of RAM so you can run many tabs simultaneously. The speakers are facing up so you get good sound. Battery life is around 9hrs. The only downside is that it is white and has a plastic body, but that's fine if you know how to take care of things. You can buy it NEW right now for $208. When I bought it for my cousin a couple of years ago it cost me $250 used.

Acer Chromebook C720 is for someone on a seriously low budget. Probably the cheapest Chromebook money can buy (right next to the Samsung 303 but don't buy the Samsung because processor is sluggish). I actually still own a C720 because its small, cheap, and I can get work done on it. It has an 11.6 inch 720p HD screen. Processor is a Celeron 2955U with an Octane score of about 11,600. Battery life is 8.5hrs but since they are old I can imagine its less than that now. Downsides: the screen, its a TN panel that's lacks rich colors and has poor viewing angles; screen is small so reading text sometimes requires you to zoom in on pages; keyboard takes some adjusting as its a tiny bit smaller than a regular keyboard.
